Individual Exercise Support

Exercise is Medicine

After graduating from physical therapy, people often ask ‘what comes next?’. Wellness (or maintenance) services provide continued movement based programs to minimize the risks of a decline, falls, inactivity, or secondary complications. Even if you aren’t a recent PT graduate, wellness services are the perfect way to promote overall health, well-being, independence and promote aging in place. As a neurologic physical therapist, programs are also tailored to those who experience changes to cognition and behaviors that impact activity levels and may not benefit from traditional exercise programs. The best part is every program is customized to you to make sure you are getting the maximum health and fitness benefits!

Wellness services are preventative in nature and do not meet the threshold for medical necessity so they are not covered by insurance. Although all programs are provided by a physical therapist, they are not physical therapy services. If it any time it is determined that you require skilled physical therapy, you will be referred to an appropriate provider.
